What is Belara and what is it used?

Belara is a hormonal contraceptive oral with two hormones (combined oral contraceptive). It contains a progesterone (chlormadinone acetate) and estrogen (ethinyl estradiol). Since both hormones are present in the 21 tablets a cycle pack in the same amount Belara is also known as monophasic.

Belara not protect you from HIV infection or other sexually transmitted diseases before. Help only condoms.

 
Notes on taking Belara

Take Belara exactly as directed by your doctor. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

How and when to take Belara?

Other information

The active ingredients are estradiol and chlormadinone.

Each tablet contains 0.030 mg ethinyl estradiol and 2.0 mg chlormadinone acetate.

The other ingredients are:
Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone K30, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur), hypromellose, macrogol 6000, propylene glycol, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), iron (III) oxide (E 172).
