Analgesics. Non-opioid analgesics
Relief of symptoms caused by the flu, such as pain, fever and a stuffy nose.

What is it?
Couldina ® is a medicine that contains three active ingredients in its composition:
Aspirin, chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine
Aspirin reduces fever and pain
Chlorpheniramine reduced lacrimation, and rhinitis
Phenylephrine relieves nasal congestion
1 effervescent tablet contains:
500 mg acetylsalicylic acid
2 mg chlorpheniramine maleate
7.5 mg of phenylephrine
2.5 mg sodium saccharin
200 mg mannitol
Couldina ® is not a cure of infections caused by viruses or bacteria, but only reduces the symptoms and complaints that lead to colds or flu.
Application:
In Spain there Couldina ® for oral administration in the form of effervescent tablets.
The appropriate dose Couldina ® may be different for each patient. The following are the most commonly recommended doses.
Oral dose in adults:
* 1 tablet every 6 or 8 hours.
Couldina ® is not recommended for use in children.
For proper application, you should dissolve the tablet in half a glass of water. Wait a few minutes to dissolve completely until the tablet and drink it, preferably after meals.
What precautions should be taken?
* In the case of diseases of the liver, kidneys or heart, stomach ulcers, diabetes, chronic asthma, glaucoma, anemia, or enlarged prostate, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
* Couldina ® can reduce the concentration. Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery during treatment.
be * The use of aspirin in children with acute febrile illness, especially influenza and varicella, can the development of Reye's syndrome (characterized by brain and liver damage) associated. Therefore, these drugs not be used in children under 16. Your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medication to give expert advice.
* Tell your doctor or dentist about taking Couldina ® if you are planning a surgery or dental procedures.
* Couldina ® contain substances that are banned in competitive sports and I therefore do not exist a doping test.
* If improving after a week of treatment, the symptoms worsen or do not, please talk with your doctor.
What problems can you work on?
* Couldina ®, the results of blood tests and urine change.
* The side effects of these drugs are usually mild and transient. Occasionally it may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, indigestion or abdominal cramps.
* More rarely it can cause allergic reactions, drowsiness, dizziness, urinary retention, anxiety and high blood pressure.
Can it be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
* No adequate studies have been done in pregnant women. However, since the use of aspirin during pregnancy, especially at the end, can lead to complications, taking Couldina ® is not recommended in pregnant women.
* It is not known whether the components of the Couldina ® in significant quantities are excreted in breast milk and the possible impact might have on the baby. We do not recommend taking this medication during breastfeeding.
How to keep the drug on?
* Keep all medicines in a cool, dry area, without exposing it to direct sunlight.
* Keep out of reach of children.
