Composition
Each capsule contains 575 mg magnesium metamizol
Nolotil capsules analgesic, antipyretic and antispasmodic
Acute post-operative pain or post-traumatic.
Cramp-like pain.
Tumor-induced pain.
At a high fever is not responding to other antipyretics.
My personal experience:
I have taken at Nolotil mad tooth pain after the anesthesia subsided.
2 capsules directly into the pharmacy, 20 minutes later 2 more capsules.
After 1 hour of sleep and I felt good again.
Contraindications
Nolotil capsules in patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions (eg anaphylaxis or agranulocytosis) contraindicated in metamizol or other pyrazolone derivatives. Cross-sensitivity, in patients who have symptoms of asthma, rhinitis or urticaria had after taking aspirin, acetaminophen or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are made.
It is contraindicated in cases of acute intermittent porphyria and inborn deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
Precautions
The treatment should be discontinued immediately if any signs or symptoms of anaphylaxis / anaphylactic shock (breathlessness, asthma, rhinitis, angioedema or glottis, hypotension, urticaria, rash) or agranulocytosis (fever, chills, sore throat, sores in the mouth, nose or throat, mouth or genitals develop mucous membrane lesions).

Patients should be consistent with a hypersensitivity reaction to the drug dipyrone not use again.
In patients with pre-existing problems of hematopoiesis (eg cytostatics) dipyrone may be administered only under medical supervision.

Interacción interactions
If combined with cyclosporine is administered, can decrease the blood levels of cyclosporine and should therefore be monitored.

Warnings
Pregnancy and Lactation

Metamizol metabolites is excreted in human milk, so you should avoid breastfeeding for 48 hours after administration.
Dosage
The usual dose is:
A capsule, 3 or 4 times a day.

Overdose
Symptoms: There have been reports of vomiting, hypotension and fatigue.
Side effects
Rarely observed decrease in the number of platelets.
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in the skin and mucous membranes. Rarely serious skin reactions with blisters that may even be life threatening and usually contain mucous membranes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Lyell) were reported. If such reactions occur, discontinue treatment with Nolotil capsules and seek immediate medical attention.
It was occasionally reported kidney problems, decreased protein in the urine, mainly in patients with volume depletion. In patients with a history of renal disease or an overdose.
After administration of high doses of dipyrone can cause a red coloration of urine, which disappears after discontinuation of treatment.
