How does the ingredient?
Mometasone is used in allergic rhinitis and allergic inflammation of the nasal mucosa caused.
The allergy is a hypersensitivity reaction of the immune system to harmless substances like pollen, animal hair and much more. In an attempt to defeat the enemy supposed to be producing large amounts of inflammatory mediators - including the tissue hormone histamine and signal substances from the group of leukotrienes and cytokines. These mediators trigger inflammation and are ultimately responsible for the symptoms: sneezing, running nose, runny nose, swollen nasal mucous membranes and itching.
Mometasone is a cortisone derivative and has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, which prevents the formation and release of inflammatory substances from the group of leukotrienes and cytokines. The drug combats the inflammation of the nasal mucosa locally and moves only very little can still be avoided to a large extent in the body - other unwanted side effects cortisone preparations.
Mometasone relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis effectively. It suppresses inflammation and prevents damage to the nasal mucosa by continued allergic reactions. The effect is not immediately but within 48 hours - Momethason should be applied regularly. The drug is also suitable for long-term use over several months. Pollen allergies should start treatment even before the start of the hay fever season.
Warning!
• When changing a cortisone treatment of tablets on inhalation or nasal spray allergies can occur (eg, allergic skin lesions) that were previously suppressed.
• This medication should be used) only for allergic rhinitis (eg hay fever. If you have an infection of the nose, for example, caused by viruses or bacteria, it can be exacerbated by the application of the preparation.

Pregnancy and Lactation
