A drug that increases the amount of urine (diuretic) in the regulation of blood pressure (antihypertensives).
Considerations:
It is best to take this medicine on an empty stomach, but when it comes to stomach problems, you can take it with food.
It is advisable to take it in the morning or at lunch to avoid getting up at night and also having to urinate.
Your doctor may recommend a special diet, which will continue to enhance the effectiveness of these drugs.
While taking these medications may include dizziness or fainting when they drink alcohol, or work and stay in the sun or in hot weather.
If you are a diabetic be aware that this drug can alter the glucose level in blood and urine.
If your doctor tells you otherwise nothing else, try eating foods rich in potassium like bananas, spinach, peaches, grapes, melons, plums and kiwi fruit to eat.
This product may be that your skin more sensitive to light. If so, you should avoid direct sunlight and when you walk in the sun, use a sunscreen.
Adverse effects:
Although not common, you may experience excessive thirst, muscle cramps, or nausea. If these symptoms persist, talk to your doctor.
