Dianben 850 mg belongs to the group of medications called Oral Anti-diabetics.
It is used for the treatment of adult diabetes (Type 2), particularly in overweight patients, when diet and physical exercise alone are not sufficient to achieve satisfactory glucose levels in the blood.
